A very important aspect while improving the practices in an organisation is to have a clear view on the state the organisation is in. Using models recognized in the world to bring added value such as SCAMPI (CMMI) and P3M3 X4P analyses all possible aspects of the organisation to find out how it can improve to deliver better benefits.

The analysis leads to a report and an action plan. Throughout the analysis there is an intensive consultation of the different participants in the organisation to make sure that the observations reflect also the practices on the ground. During the analysis we also read through a lot of project paperwork to get a sound understanding of the state of the documentation.

The final report is presented to the sponsor of the project after which an action plan can be put together to close the gaps that have been identified.
