IDENTIFY
We start from the objectives of the P3O and the added value it is supposed to bring to your organisatoin. Using this information we build an initial Vision statement and Business Case that can be used to decide if it makes sense to continue with the effort or not
DEFINE
The optimal P3O is developed and the Roles and Responsibilities are being set up. While considering the target organisation, the context, the expected benefits, the P3O is carefully designed. The P3O team is being pulled together and the necessary training is provided. A Blueprint of the final organisation together with a plan for the implementation is being estiblished
DELIVER
The P3O defined in the Blueprint is being implemented in the organisation. The different portfolios, programs and projects are gradually supported with a focus on delivering as much as possible benefits early. The organisation will feel rapidly the positive efects of the availability of the P3O !!
CLOSE
We design our intervention to step out of the project when it has been delivered. We do not intend to work us into an organisation. So when the time is there to close the P3O implementation project, you will have a different organisation. You will have invested money, but you have realized more benefits then your investment costs. You will notice that our interventions decrease as the project reaches its end, but your organisation will be capable of taking the responsibility for maintaining the organisation and continue to realize benefits.
